When fabulous music, food trucks and fundraising come together, Alice@97.3 Radio and the Bay Club are proud to take center stage. Best of all, the October Country Concert Event featuring Tina Michelle & the Rhinestone Cowboys raised over $4,500 for Young Survival Coalition (YSC), a charity supporting young women impacted by breast cancer. The high-energy concert under the stars at StoneTree Golf Course in Novato, Calif. was a highlight of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2016.
Sarah & Vinnie from Alice@97.3 were on hand for the exciting fund-raising raffle and silent auction, line dancing, and stage announcements, including VIP introductions and interviews with Annie Appel, Executive Vice President of the Bay Club, YSC representative Toni Stergion, and Bay Club member Danny McNamara.
A successful and uplifting evening benefiting Young Survival Coalition underscored the Bay Club message: “Live Life Happy.” Raising funds for research and support is an important aspect of breast cancer awareness, as it is estimated that more than 250,000 women in the U.S. are diagnosed with breast cancer at age 40 or younger, reports YSC.
The Bay Club is not only known as a top-notch fitness and lifestyle club, but also as a vibrant community, dedicated to giving back and supporting non-profits throughout the year. Charities supported by the Bay Club include Toys for Tots in partnership with the Alice@97.3> Morning Show, Team G, YSC, Augies Quest (ALS) and The Happy Fund. During the month of November, the Bay Club helped to raise $40,000 for Toys for Tots and over 2,500 toys were donated to this great charity to help children have gifts under their trees during the holiday season.
