Will Four Little Words Bring A Second Season of ‘Gilmore Girls’ To Netflix?

***SPOILER ALERT***

As the ‘Gilmore Girls’ reboot phenomenon grows, many die-hard fans were left in a state of shock when in the final moments of the Netflix series, Rory Gilmore says to her mother Lorelai, “I’m pregnant.” Leaving many to wonder and often cry out “when is the next season happening?!” Not even George Lucas can think of a better cliffhanger than this.

Fear not. According to the Huffington Post, some of the stars of the show has hinted to a possible second season on Netflix. Despite Alexis Bleidel’s comment that there were “no plans” for a second season, there is a strong chance the cast would return if the story was good.

“It really is about telling a good story for us,” Bleidel said. “Just to keep doing more for the sake of it probably just wouldn’t feel satisfying for anybody. We just want to make sure we’re doing it for a really great reason.”

With Gilmore Girls trending, the renewed interest in the show may trigger another season. A positive sign is to look at how Netflix categorizes the episodes Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall under “Season 1.” With that, it’s fun to speculate there may be a “Season 2” in the future.
