Happy Friday Bay Area!
It’s the weekend, and as of this week it’s FALL!
Here are the week’s biggest stories.
Thomas Edison was quite the busybody. One of his (or his company’s) projects was actually something of an early drone. It consisted of a camera attached to a balloon, and it shot the streets of San Francisco from above…in the very early 1900s. Recently, someone discovered the footage and posted it online.
A little girl going on a fishing trip with her dad toting her pink Barbie fishing pole got a huge surprise when she managed to catch a GIANT bass fish. Extra points go to super Dad, who was very encouraging and told her she could do it on her own.
Ariana Grande may rock straight hair most of the time, but she actually has naturally curly locks. Recently, the pop singer posted a photo on Instagram of her hair and her fans are loving it.
What is going on in the Bay? Separate incidents keep springing up of 49ers fans physically attacking strangers. Recently, a fan was attacked at a game, and just this week, a man was beaten up at a Buffalo Wild Wings. We don’t know what’s going on, but we’ll say this: let’s keep it classy guys, it’s just a game.
We’re now approaching the end of football season, meaning it’s high time that the Giants’ rookies face their annual hazing. The ritual this year put rookies in womens’ Halloween costumes. To be honest, we’re not sure how much of a hazing it is — the team of jokesters seem to be enjoying the silliness.
