Hey, it’s Lauren again writing from Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii!! Jayn and I were just talking about how our days are so filled with activities but magically relaxing at the same time.
Aulani is amazing that way!
Yesterday I tried out stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking at the lagoon, which was the most fun workout I think I’ve ever had.
Afterwards, I grabbed an ocean view lunch at ‘Ama ‘Ama where I ate the most deliciously fresh fish and sipped coconut water.
Then I went snorkeling at Rainbow Reef and floated down the lazy river for a while. I thought my incredible day was done when I watched the sun go down from a beachside lounge chair, but then one of the tall, dark and handsome staff members here told me about the Hui.
A Hui is a Hawaiian gathering usually with music and dancing, so I had to go check it out. I grabbed a mat they told me was made from fibers they get from coconut trees, and snagged a spot next to an adorable family with a 2 year old that was going to town dancing to the Hawaiian music. She was the cutest thing ever!
My attention shifted pretty quickly, though, once half a dozen shirtless Hawaiian men hit the stage. Needless to say, I’m having the best vacation ever at Aulani.
Talk to you soon!
