Happy Friday Bay Area!
Before you kick back and enjoy your (hopeful) three-day weekend, take a look at some of the biggest stories from this week.
Chances are, you’ve seen the odd-looking Flintstone house from the 280 freeway near Hillsborough at some point or another, but thanks to a recent announcement that the house is up for sale, we can now get a little peek inside. Thinking about buying? It’ll cost you a not very prehistoric price of $4.5 million. As a matter of fact, it would be cheaper to buy the official Flintstones theme park.
What power Harry Styles wields. The soon-to-be former One Direction singer recently condemned SeaWorld for their treatment of wild animals, and wowie did everyone take it to heart. Thousands of people began trolling the theme park’s social media sites…it was ugly.
You definitely won’t be surprised.
The force is strong with this toy. Disney — amazing, wonderful Disney — is promoting their new Star Wars film in the best ever way: by creating a Millennium Falcon-replica drone. Bless you George Lucas. Bless you Chewie. Bless you Walt Disney. Bless you Hasbro. This is the best day.
The VMAs were rather divisive this year, and we’re not just talking about that weird Miley/Nicki beef. A handful of artists were quite vocal about their distaste for the MTV Awards show, and offered their opinions via Twitter. Two in particular who really hated it: Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Pink.
