Will Miley Cyrus be a good host for this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards? Well, she’s certainly game for a good gag. Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she took to the streets of L.A. on the “I Witness News” segment, disguised as an Australian journalist, asking people what they think, well, Miley Cyrus.
Answers varied from one person who complained that she isn’t doing anything to prevent the fabric of America from being torn apart, one who said she’s lost her mind “in the Hollywood madness,” to another who simply said that he prefers Taylor Swift. Two girls, though, were happy to twerk with her.
If fans were disappointed that she was a bit overdressed during that segment, they needn’t have worried. When she appeared in the studio to spend some time chatting with Kimmel, she was wearing a sparkly jacket and pants outfit. Underneath the jacket? Pasties over her nipples.
“My dad would rather me not have my t–s out all the time,” she said. “But he’d rather have me have my t–s out and be a good person than have a shirt on and be a bitch.”
She noted that at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where she was on hand to induct Joan Jett, she met Paul McCartney, and she noticed that he was having a hard time talking to her.
