Happy Friday Bay Area! Welcome to your sunny weekend.
We had a big week in the news, so we’ve rounded up our most interesting stories for you to check out before you do your relaxing.
New broke by People Magazine caused quite a stir this week, when the site quoted a “mutual friend” saying that the former girlfriend of Tomlinson is pregnant with his baby. The whole camp is staying mum as of now, which obviously is only fueling speculation.
In her first major public appearance since her transition, Caitlyn Jenner appeared at the ESPYs to accept the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. She spoke candidly about coming out as trans, and delivered a moving speech about the treatment of transgender individuals.
Comcast’s latest critic is a surprising one. Apparently, when you ask Siri for Comcast’s phone number in a specific way, she responds very bluntly (and rudely).
Channing Tatum went to Comic-Con earlier this week and stood on a stage next to a whole bunch of Marvel superhero actors. When Stan Lee (who is in his early 90s) closed out the panel, passed off the mic and went to leave the stage, Tatum was the only one to step up and help escort him off the platform.
Star Trek is offering a pretty cool gig for major Trekkies, and if you win, you could just land yourself right on set of the newest film.
