As even the staunchest of Bill Cosby supporters turn their backs on him, a movement has risen to have Bill Cosby‘s star removed from Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
“If they don’t remove that star, we’ll call it the walk of shame,” said activist Najee Ali on Tuesday, making his case to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, as CBS reports. Ali was joined by others who spoke out against the actor.
“To have someone like this—an admitted drugging and serial rapist, sexual abuser—right in the middle of Hollywood Blvd is a disgrace and a shame,” echoed Earl Ofari Hutchinson of the LA Urban Policy Roundtable.
While Walt Disney World conceded to remove Cosby’s bust from its grounds, the chamber has remained firm on its decision not to take any action.
