Happy Friday, Bay Area!
Welcome to the weekend. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite stories from this week right here, just for you.
Oh, and one more thing: GO DUBS!
Eeeesh, how awkward. Kanye West, regular basketball fan not sporting any team colors, headed to Game 5 of the Warriors-Rockets series earlier this week, and the crowd was NOT happy to see him. They were, on the other hand, pretty stoked to see the other rapper calling himself a god in attendance.
A health organization crunched some numbers about major American cities to figure out which they could call the “fittest” based on factors like city park area, farmers markets, and amount of walkers and bikers. Surprisingly, the results were not what you’d probably guess, but there are a couple local cities that made the Top Ten cut.
The Fuller House reboot is really going to b a big ole reunion. Almost all of the whole cast is returning. Find out who’s back and who the producers are going to need to make an excuse for.
Stephen Curry might be the man of the hour, but no one can dethrone the little queen of the week, his daughter Riley Curry. The smallest Curry attended her dad’s post-game presser once again this week (to the chagrin of the journalists in attendance), and once again, made the whole thing entirely more watchable for non-basketball fans and those sick of watching basketball players answer the same questions over and over again.
Oooh man, you do not step to J.K. Rowling if you’re spouting any sort of hate. The world famous Harry Potter author was addressed by the Westboro Baptist Church this week with a very rude and unsolicited opinion about LGBT rights, and naturally, J.K. Rowling completely annihilated them with a single little tweet.
