Taste Small Batch Bourbon & BBQ At The Palace Of Fine Arts After Dark This Month

By Alyssa Pereira

Few things are truly more American than barbecue, bourbon, and bluegrass, which is perhaps why whenever we hear there’s a celebration combining all three, we just can’t help but get overly excited about it (which is also a very American thing).

This April 18, the city will light up the Palace of Fine Arts after dark for Americana, a festival bringing Southern style barbecue (from Smoke Master Chris Shelgren of McTeague’s Saloon), small batch bourbon distillers, and live music from several country Americana acts to San Francisco.

Among the distilleries offering selections are Seven Stills (which is local to San Francisco), Angel’s Envy, Hudson River, Basil Hayden, Knob Creek, Mitcher’s, Four Roses and more. They’ll also be serving Lagunitas for beer fans.

Tickets run for about $75, but designated drivers can get in on the action for $37.50. Buy them here.
