Just like John Green’s massively popular book The Fault in Our Stars, his earlier novel Paper Towns is getting a movie adaptation.
The story stars a boy named Quentin “Q” Jacobsen (played by The Fault In Our Stars’ Nat Wolff) who falls for the “miracle”/popular girl next door Margo Roth Spiegelman (Cara Delevingne). They run in different circles, and they never speak anymore like they used to as kids — that is, until one night, when Margo finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her and asks for Q’s help.
Apparently Delevingne, who is a model, was a perfect fit for the role. Green was initially skeptical, but quickly changed his tune after seeing her audition tape. “When I heard she was auditioning, it was like, ‘No.’ Of course I thought that was crazy,” Green, 37, tells USA Today. “But then I saw the audition. She understood Margo in ways that no one I have ever met understands Margo.”
