Two Major Characters Will Be Missing From Next Season’s ‘Game of Thrones’

By Alyssa Pereira

According to Yahoo!, Kristian Nairn who plays Hodor, and Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who plays Bran, will be missing from next season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones”.

In an interview, Nairn discusses his other gig as a DJ in Australia in relation to the show’s shooting schedule, saying, “We have a season off and we have a year’s hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books.”

Basically, Bran and Hodor’s storyline has gotten much further ahead than the rest of the plotlines, so they’re down for the count until George R. R. Martin writes a future for them.

To console your Hodor tears, I’ll just leave this here for you.
