First City Fest starts tomorrow in Monterey, and we already know there are a ton of things to do. Between the festival’s wicked lineup and the beer and wine, we already know it’s going to be a great weekend.
To make planning a bit easier, we’re putting all the information you need about the fest in one place, from the weather to the fairgrounds layout.
The festival is taking place at the Monterey County Fairgrounds.
Plus, it doesn’t look like rain! Here’s the forecast via CBS Weather. Currently it sits with a high of 68 and a low of 55.
Looks like everything is as centrally located as possible, but here’s a quick link straight to the official map. (Note: download the image as a photo on your phone for easy access when cell service is sparse!)
Chances are you already have a plan of attack for your transportation, but just in case, here’s the link to the shuttles to and from San Jose and San Francisco.
If you’re local, remember there’s also a bike valet!
Need a cab? Here’s a list of some local companies.
Have a friend who still needs to grab their ticket? Here you go.
There are a few things you cannot bring to this year’s festival that you may not be aware of. You can bring EMPTY Camelpacks, cigarettes and small beach towels. You cannot bring blankets, chairs, outside food and drink, flags, pets, coolers, or stuffed animals (sorry kids!).
Other Fun Stuff
From the site, “We have a full carnival with unlimited free rides, a Unique USA Marketplace to buy Made in the USA good from designers and vendors, and a Beat Swap Meet to find and purchase your favorite vinyl record! Also be sure to check our our food and beverage areas and games!”
Count us in!
