In what will only be described in posterity as the most wonderful moment of ever, a music festival was just announced that will take place in a real California ghost town.
Bandit Town, California (which is halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles and is owned by Jen McMillan), will be host to a festival called Bandit Town Allnight Campout this Labor Day weekend, August 30-31.
And this ain’t no light billing either. The festival features acts from both Southern California and Northern California , like Fresh & Onlys, Golden Void, Summer Twins and more.
According to the site, it only gets better. There will be:
Fun & Games & Prizes!
Bands & DJs
Coldest Beer in Bandit Town!
Food Trucks (Vegetarian Friendly!)
Van Jams Contest!
Motorcycle Slow Race!
Vintage & HandmadeVendors
Just to round out all the good news here, you’d be attending a music show in a legit ghost town, which is epically, eerily demonstrated by this slideshow of photos on their site.
And hey, did we tell you the whole thing, including camping and parking is only $65? Well take a seat, because it’s the truth.
