Campaign Started to Save The Lost Church, Underground SF Concert Venue

By Alyssa Pereira

The Mission’s The Lost Church wants to go legit. The venue, tucked away on a side street between Van Ness and Mission in San Francisco, needs to undergo some serious restorations to continue to play live music and house art productions—but unfortunately, that can all be a bit pricy. They have to comply with some city obligations, but they need help.

The venue has hosted over 1,000 bands (including local acts The Sam Chase and Rin Tin Tiger) since they opened three years ago along with films, art events, and theater productions.

They need to raise $26,000 to operate. If you’d like to help, you can donate to their Indiegogo campaign here.

They also filmed a video, in case you need any more convincing.
