The San Francisco LGBT Center works to connect their diverse community to opportunities, resources and each other to achieve their vision of a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world for LGBT people and their allies.
The Center’s strategies inspire and strengthen their community by fostering greater opportunities for people to thrive, celebrating their history and culture, organizing for their future, and building resources to create a legacy for future generations.
the Center and its programs fight against individual and systematic discrimination. They provide critical safety net programs to serve the most vulnerable members of the community: people of color, transgender, lesbian, and bisexual women, differently-abled people, youth, elders, immigrants, and low-income individuals. These people often experience additional, intersecting forms of discrimination.
