The ‘Frozen’ Soundtrack Just Broke A Record

By Alyssa Pereira

Disney’s Frozen is on a wintry roll. The official soundtrack, which features Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Demi Lovato this week returned to the Billboard charts this week to the #1 position.

For the week ending March 16, the Soundtrack sold 99,000 copies, bringing its total units sold to 1.1 million this year (in addition to the 338,000 it sold in 2013), making it this first album this year to sell a million copies.

The Frozen Soundtrack is one of only four soundtracks with six or more weeks at #1 (others include those for Titanic and West Side Story).
