James Hetfield, Pat Monahan, Bill Joe Armstrong Team Up For Children’s Hospital Benefit

Local rock luminaries are joining forces for a benefit for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

Metallica‘s James Hetfield and Sammy Hagar will hit the stage on Thursday, May 15 at the Fillmore for “Acoustic 4 a Cure” to benefit the Children’s Hospital’s pediatric cancer program. Hetfield and the “Red Rocker” will be joined by Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong, Train‘s Pat Monahan, guitar legend Joe Satriani, Heart’s Nancy Wilson, and more.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 21 at 10:00 AM at LiveNation.com for $125 (plus service charges).

Important to note that there is a two ticket limit that is non-transferable. The entire event is “WILL CALL ONLY” so do not buy any tickets from ticket brokers or off of Craigslist.
