Dr. Susan Shaheen is a Research Associate at the Mineta Transportation Institute, an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley’s Institute of Transportation Studies, and the co-director of UC Berkeley’s Transportation Sustainability Research Center. She has a PhD in ecology, focusing on technology management and the environmental aspects of transportation, from the University of California, Davis, and a Masters degree in public policy analysis from the University of Rochester. She completed her post-doctoral studies on advanced public transportation systems at the University of California, Berkeley.
