Seneca Family Of Agencies
Seneca Center sustains children and families through the most difficult times of their lives. They train adults who want to be foster parents. Then, after the extensive training, they match foster parents with children who need a stable home. They continue to offer support and services to the foster children and their foster families.
Many foster children maintain a relationship with their foster parents and family long after they’ve aged out of the foster care system.
Jennifer Saur, Seneca’s Foster Parent Liason, and Dione Mason, a former foster child and a new foster parent, talk about the number of children in foster care, the reasons children are in foster care, foster parent training, and ways people can help Seneca continue their mission.
