Liz Saint John interviews three guests every Sunday morning covering a variety of issues and topics. She talks with representatives from Bay Area non-profit organizations, documentary filmmakers, authors, and professors.
1. Kim Martindale, Producer of “The Marin Show: Art of the Americas,” talks about the different types of art from Northern, Central and South America that will be on display and for sale at the annual event at the Civic Center Exhibit Hall February 22nd through 24th. Opening night benefits Homeward Bound of Marin. Mary Kay Sweeney, the Executive Director, talks about the numerous programs and services they offer in Marin.
2. Junior League of San Francisco fashion showcase chairperson Michelle Curtis Harris and PR co-chair Alexandra Skillman talk about the upcoming event “Fashion Forward: Setting Sail Into a New century” at Fort Mason February 28th through March 2nd. The event will benefit a number of charities in San Francisco.
3. Writer Beth Lisick talks about her project working with Creativity Explored artists to produce a series of booklets on different topics. The first two are on romance and friendship. Ann Kappas, the organization’s marketing director, talks about their mission, the studios, and the gallery.
