Sea Lion 23rd Anniversary– Pier 39 San Francisco (ALL WEEKEND)
Tours start on the hour from 11am – 2pm; last tour departs at 2pm. After the tour you’ll be given free refreshments, and most likely coupons for up to 50% of the Aquarium by the Bay. Plus it is going on all weekend, even Monday!

Mavericks Surf Contest – Half Moon Bay

What better way to celebrate your extra day off by going out and enjoying nature! Muir Woods is allowing free entry for the whole day, so why not grab the family or friends and head out on the trail! Get there early, parking is limited.
MLK Celebration and Pot Luck – Piedmont
Happy Martin Luther King day! Celebrate with live music by Oaktown Jazz, the Oakland Youth Chorus, and a potluck. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington, they are returning to the screening of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. Don’t forget to bring a dish to share!
