Bay Area Weekend Events
If we all make it through Friday and the end of the world, here are some things going on in the Bay Area for you and the family, or friends to check out! So get out there and do something with your visiting family members, show them a good time! Or make a break for it and go by yourself before they drive you crazy.
5$ off Amoeba with Food Bank Donation - Haight St, San Francisco
This is what we call a win-win! You get to help out someone with your donation, and you get 5$ to spend on something awesome at Amoeba. Use it for yourself, or that last Christmas gift you forgot.
Telegraph Ave Holiday Street Fair – Berkeley
Treat yourself to a diversity of arts and crafts, including jewelry, hats, candles, leather work, pottery, wood crafts, metal crafts, paintings, henna-art, gift boxes, photography and sculptures. Good food also awaits you and enjoy shopping for a change during the craziness of the holidays.
Free Parking Saturday – Oakland
Who doesn’t like free parking? No one wants to deal with finding change and worrying about getting back to your car, or wishing harm to the meter maid while you’re trying to shop! So all Saturday Oakland offers free metered parking, there are time limits though so be sure to check out the link above!
The Fairmont’s Winter Wonderland – San Jose
Picture 6 foot tall giant chocolate nutcracker, a Gingerbread Village and a holiday electric train display, and you’ve found the winter wonderland at the Fairmont. So sneak a peek before it’s gone!
Holiday 3D Light Show – Westfield Mall, San Francisco
Showing every half hour starting at 5 pm until 30 minutes prior to the Centre’s closing, the iconic dome in the shopping center comes alive with the story of a 19th Century toymaker’s workshop.
