Liz Saint John interviews three guests every Sunday morning covering a variety of issues and topics. She talks with representatives from Bay Area non-profit organizations, documentary filmmakers, authors, and professors.

1. Thriller writer Kathleen Antrim, author of “Capitol Offense,” talks about her experience as part of the group of five thriller writers who went on the USO’s Operation Thriller Entertainment Tour for American servicemen and women at military bases in the Middle East.

2. Writer Andrew Solomon interviewed and studied over 300 families across America. he was looking at how parents deal with children who are very different from themselves for a variety of reasons. Some of these children were born with a disability, some children committed serious crimes, some children are transgender, and some children are prodigies.

3. Lisa Geduldig and Mike Capozzola, two of the comedians featured at the upcoming Kung Pao Kosher Comedy Show at the New Asia Restaurant in San Francisco’s Chinatown December 22nd through December 25th, talk about the annual event that benefits local charities. Judy Gold headlines this year’s show.
