Yesterday we asked you where was the best place to see fantastic Christmas lights, today we did some more digging and have picked the top 10 places in the Bay Area for you to witness the festivities.

10. Berkeley – The Arlington

Check out the candy cane walking path which features gingerbread houses and elves!

9. Novato – Devonshire Lane

Not only outside! But inside is decorated as well for your viewing pleasure!

8. Livermore – Hillcrest (Deacon Daves)

Always considered a must see! The displays change every year so you’re never bored!

7. Santa Clara – Los Padres

Amazing lights, and one of the winners of the Mercury News’ “Best Display” .

6. Vaccaville – Candy Cane Lane (Arlene Dr)

It’s a tradition with many families in the area to witness the whole block of fun!

5. San Jose- Glacier Lights

This year they  have over 75,000 lights synchronized to several songs with 240 separate channels. The songs are broadcast on a short-range FM transmitter set to 104.1 FM. Talk about being prepared!

4. Alameda – Thompson St.

This is a great place to park your car and walk around the neighborhood to see more than one extravagantly decorated home!

3. Palo Alto – Christmas Tree Lane

A tradition that goes back until the 1940’s residents of this block continue with their dazzling displays of lights for all to see!

2. Castro,  San Francisco – Tom & Jerry’s ( 3650 21st street)

Owners of the house, Tom & Jerry, decorate so lavishly you wouldn’t even know there was a house behind the decorations. Everything is scaled to fit, with some presents as big as cars! This is a must see!

1. San Carlos – Eucalyptus Street

Every single house for the exception of maybe one is decorated to the max! It’s nice to see the whole neighborhood get together and decorate!
