The erotic fiction “Fifty Shades of Grey” has been one of the biggest stories of the past year. With millions of fans and speculation of a movie version on the way – it has lead the music industry to ponder what songs will accompany the erotic juggernaut. In a recent interview with Jayn, the Canadian band Hedley broached the subject of campaigning for a slot on the movie’s soundtrack.

“I’ve been also trying to get on the soundtrack as well, but my methods have been a little more obscure.” Commented frontman Jacob Hoggard, “I’ve been trying to act out scenes from the book.”

Wait, what?! Has Hoggard just been sleeping around?

Guitarist Dave Rosin explained it goes beyond that. Rosin added, “He keeps calling me ‘good girl’ a whole bunch and I’m like ‘Dude!’”

Hoggard continued, “I keep all these candles with me … just to melt.”
