Not only is this weekend looking to be amazing weather wise, but we’ve looked into some awesome things for you to get out and do! So enjoy the sun and check out some of these fun events to do!
5. Banned Books Week 2012: Perks of Being a Wallflower -Benicia (Friday)
Come join the party while they celebrate the book and now movie, the Perks of Being a Wallflower. There will be 90’s trivia, food, costume contest, board games and the best part ever 90’s boy band freeze dance! Who could say no to that?
4. German Oktoberfest “Free Jugs” Event: Cafe Royale – San Francisco (Friday)
If you come by to celebrate Oktoberfest and buy one of the three German beers on tap, you get a free littler mug! Everyone likes a free gift with purchase, and how often does that happen at a bar?
3. Public Lands Day – (Saturday)
Take advantage of the sun and go out to one of California’s National Parks, because Saturday they’re FREE! Parks like Muir Woods, which normally charge entrance fees will be free all day, for a list of all the participating parks click the link above!
2. Pacifica Fog Fest – Pacifcia (Saturday – Sunday)
Come check out the FREE two-day celebration with over 150 arts and crafts booths, three stages with over 25 bands, a parade and marching band competition and food! Fun for the family or friends!
1. Alice’s Now & Zen Fest – Golden Gate Park (Sunday)
There is not enough space to write all the good things that are happening at Now & Zen but cliff notes version if you will, it’s FREE! You’ll get a chance to see Alanis Morissette, Matt Nathanson, Ed Sheeran, Phillip Phillips, Tristan Prettyman and Hedley. It’ll be gorgeous out. No excuses, get out there!
