Thursday night, September 13, in New York City, Lady Gaga hosted the launch party for her new perfume Fame at the Guggenheim museum. True to the title of her forthcoming album, ARTPOP, she put on a living art show.
The singer took to a new egg — a giant sized replica of her perfume bottle — to perform “Sleeping With Gaga,” while a crowd of celebrities watched.
In attendance at the event, timed to coincide with the closing of New York Fashion Week, were Marc Jacobs, Yoko Ono, Lindsay Lohan, Michael Strahan (former football player and new co-host of Live With Kelly), Alexander Wang, Rachel Zoe and fashion designer Jason Wu.

Guests were invited to reach inside her perfume bottle and interact with Gaga, poking her while she slept. The entire event was live streamed on her social network, Little Monsters.
When she awoke, she got a tattoo on her newly shorn head. Then she commenced doing the things normal people do, playing with her iPad, putting on make-up and chair dancing to Kanye West’s music.
Gaga also debuted a five-minute short film to promote her perfume, directed by photographer Steven Klein.
