Fifty Shades Of Grey not only introduced a new audience to erotic fiction, it turned a new generation on to classical music. To capitalize on the connection, a soundtrack is being released with every song the writer, E.L. James, referenced in the series.

The sexy trilogy, which has sold more than 20 million copies in the United States, references 15 classical musical pieces including the ‘Flower Duet’ from Lakmé, Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D,’ the ‘aria’ from Bach’s Goldberg Variations and more. Now fans looking for the real Fifty Shades experience (G-rated of course) can get all of the music mentioned in the series on one disc curated by the author herself.

“I am thrilled that the classical pieces that inspired me while I wrote the Fifty Shades Trilogy are being brought together in one collection for all lovers of the books to enjoy,” she said in a statement.

The 16^th century motet “Spem in Alium” by Thomas Tallis, which is featured in the novel, even jumped to the top of the UK classical charts recently, all because of the wild antics of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
