Adam Lambert has had quite the year. He released his album Trespassing to rave reviews, shared the stage with Queen and even saw his name in the rumor mill to be a judge on American Idol.
Adam will now add acting to his resume as he’s been confirmed to make his acting debut on ABC Family television show Pretty Little Liars.
Billboard reports that he will play the role of himself in a scene with Lucy Hale and will perform two songs. His first TV role, due to air in October, will be the Halloween episode of the show.

Adam begins taping the episode next week which gives him plenty of time before he heads to Japan for two concerts.
Meanwhile, Lucy Hale is following in Adam’s footsteps in pursuing a career in music. Last month it was confirmed that she signed a deal with Hollywood Records to release her first country album. Lucy spoke with Bop and Tiger Beat to fill fans in on what to expect.
“I grew up in Tennessee, so that’s always been my heart and soul,” she said. “Country music is so heartfelt. I think it’s a perfect fit for me. I think it will surprise people.”
