Rumors have been swirling since The Voice premiered that judges Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera have a hard time playing nice. But the Maroon 5 frontman says, it’s all “sensationalized media BS.”

Last season, X-Tina and Adam got into a bit of tiff over contestant (and former Mouseketeer) Tony Lucca’s use of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems,” but in an interview with MTV, Levine swears the two get along just fine.

“We bickered a little bit in the beginning, to be totally truthful, we had a little bit of a rough start, just kind of all getting to know each other,” he said. “But I love her, she’s the best, and we’re having a fantastic time as of late on the set.”

The two are currently filming the third season of The Voice, which will premiere in September.

Christina even showed her love for Adam this week on Twitter, to which he sweetly responded:
