Liz Saint John interviews three guests every Sunday morning covering a variety of issues and topics. She talks with representatives from Bay Area non-profit organizations, documentary filmmakers, authors, and professors.

1. David Milarch, the subject of the new book “The Man Who Planted Trees” by Jim Robbins, and the man behind Archangel Ancient Trees, talks about his efforts to collect genetic material from ancient trees and clone them, grow them, and plant them around the world to help heal the environment.

2. Dr. Christina Swanson, director of the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Science Center, talks about global warming, the health of our water, land and air, and the ways NRDC is working through legislative action and community involvement to help reverse the damage done to the earth.

3. Director Peter jay Brown talks about his new documentary “Confessions of an Eco-Terrorist” which contains footage that he shot over the past 30 years as a volunteer crew member on the Sea Shepherd, the ship featured in the television show “Whale Wars.”
