Hunger Games Sets Box Office Record

This weekend The Hunger Games made box office history. Did you see it?

The movie is expected to earn $155 million at North American box offices by the end of the weekend, which makes it the biggest – in terms of revenue – non-sequel opening in history as well as the biggest March film ever.

It is the third best opening in history, trailing only last year’s “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” which earned $169.2 million and 2008’s “The Dark Knight” $158.4 million.
