The Hole singer and wife of the late Kurt Cobain has been offered a contract to write a memoir. What can you expect?
Courtney’s book deal comes from publisher William Morrow, and the untitled work will be written with help from author and journalist Anthony Bozza. He’s written bestselling biographies on Eminem and AC/DC, and co-authored with Slash, INXS, and Tommy Lee’s autobiographies.
Courtney will open up about her marriage to Kurt, and hopes to use the tell-all to clear the air about her drug use and strained relationship with their daughter, Frances Bean. The girl was placed in the care of her grandmother, Wendy O’Connor, in December, 2009, as Courtney battled legal problems and drug issues.
Look for the book to hit shelves at the end of 2012.
