Postcards From Hawaii – Aloha & Mahalo

Hey again, it’s Rebecca one last time before we wrap up Jayn’s broadcast from the Aulani a Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii. We’ve been working really hard and I can’t wait to put my bathing suit on when we are finished and hit that lazy river! It is a gorgeous day and I’m pretty sure I can hear the pool calling my name! Oh – and don’t forget the waterslide!
[photogallerylink id=95636 align=left]I’m as excited as a little a kid just thinking about it. That’s the great thing about this place; there is something for everyone. Adults will soak up the island paradise, and of course there’s an awesome Kid’s Club called Aunty’s Beach House – a place for kids to hang out and make crafts and stuff while their parents enjoy time with each other. And us adults … we’ve been having a blast too! You just can’t beat the scenery and the hospitality here. I’ve only been to a handful of resorts in my day but I have to say that Aulani a Disney Resort and Spa is at the top of a short list. The views are amazing, the food is delicious, and you know you can’t beat the tropical weather! I didn’t even pack a jacket. And the atmosphere is casual enough that I didn’t need to wear the high heels I packed for the “just in case” scenario. Just now I took a stroll through the Waikolohe Valley to the beach to take some photos of the website and even now … (and I’ve been here for two days) … I’m still running in to amazing little nuances and places here that make you stop in your tracks and be still for a moment to take it all in. And I’m a full-grown adult! I see families here vacationing and the look of wonder on the children’s faces makes me wish my little girl was here with me … but I will save that for my next visit! Mahalo, Disney for making our stay here so fantastic! Aloha!
