Slash is a great gtr player though the Gunners blew it for me. I loved those guys when Appetite came out. I bought the Illusion albums the day they were released but as much as I tried to like them there were too many weak songs. It would have made an amazing single album. Where did they come up with this list? Total crap.

Here’s a few they missed that have been playing the last decade: Angus Young from AC/DC, Alex Lifeson from Rush, and several others should be on the list instead. Slash: still great, Jack White, decent, but not top 10, Kirk Hammet? Definately belongs on the list, Tom Morello – still great and belongs there. Prince? No, hasn’t done anything for over 10 yrs. And let’s not forget “The Edge” – hell of a lot better than most of that list, and still playing.

John Fusciante from RHCP? Please, Dave Navarro is still the best guitarist to play for them, and is still a hell of a lot better than anything RHCP have had since they were relavent. John Fusciante cant even carry his luggage.

I’m ok with this list cept give me Josh homme over the awfully overrated jack white ( queens of the stoneage/kyuss/them crooked vultures)..I’ve seen homme and white play live several times and homme has the chops over him any day of the week..and frusciante is just a hendrix “axis is bold” era copyist in an overrated funk/metal american rock band ( and they dont they come a dime a dozen) with their shirts off/tattoos (yawn) who have gone on far too long..did anyone listen to their last album..the absolute pits
