[lastfm]Adam Lambert[/lastfm] sat down for a little chat for Nightline last night. Read about his start in show biz and some of his musical influences after the jump.

Lambert started his acting career at age 10 on stage playing Linus in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. Some of his favorite tracks: [lastfm]David Bowie[/lastfm]’s Diamond Dogs, [lastfm]Bob Marley[/lastfm]’s Exodus, [lastfm]Madonna[/lastfm]’s Vogue, [lastfm]Johnny Cash[/lastfm]’s Ring of Fire and [lastfm]Lady GaGa[/lastfm]’s Speechless.

    Thanks for the interview.I’m 69yrs and think he’s the most exciting,charasmatic entertainer in my lifetime, even beating out Elvis and Michael Jackson! A note to advertisers; His fans spend a fortune traveling around the U.S. and out of the country to support him. The Canadians and others travel here to see this incredibly talented,openly honest,smart man sing and speak.Glad ABC is realizing he is not a threat to tv.
